Position OverviewThe Field Service Technician will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to clients in the field. This includes troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of various electronic and industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronic engineering and possess the necessary skills to effectively diagnose and resolve technical issues.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform on-site installations, maintenance, and repairs of electronic and industrial equipmentUtilize test instruments such as multimeters and oscilloscopes to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issuesCreate and interpret control wiring diagrams and PLC programsProvide technical assistance to customers via phone supportMaintain accurate records of service and repair activitiesCollaborate with sales team to provide promotional and sales support to clientsAdhere to safety rules and regulations while on job sitesParticipate in occasional travel to client sites for service callsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or related fieldMinimum of 2 years experience in industrial drives and electronic equipment maintenance and repairProficient in the use of test instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and strip chart recordersFamiliarity with AC variable frequency controllers and servo motor controllersStrong computer programming skillsAbility to read and interpret technical schematics and control wiring diagramsExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilitiesEffective communication skills for providing technical assistance to clientsAbility to work independently and in a team settingWillingness to participate in occasional travel and adhere to company safety rulesPass a drug screening and maintain a clean driving recordBenefits PackageOur company offers a comprehensive benefits package to our employees, including: M edical Insurance - Includes Medical, Dental, Vision, Audio, and Prescription Drug coverage $125 annual reimbursement for purchase of eligible vitamins & mineralsNo Premium for employees.Life Insurance worth 2.5 times annual base pay.
