As an employee of Sterling Pharmacy, you can expect to be treated with care and respect.Looking for a Full-time (~30-40 hours/week) candidate.This is a Monday - Friday position.We offer competitive wages.We offer Full time health benefits, a 401(k) program with a company match and a Profit Sharing bonus program.Qualifications:Required:Has a strong problem solving and mechanical aptitude in the range of skills needed to be an effective Building Maintenance TechnicianPreferred:A self-directed and self-motivated individual requiring little daily supervision once trained on routine dutiesAble to follow instructions, prioritize duties, and comply with deadlinesJob Description: This position is responsible for assisting with general building preventative maintenance, building mechanical repairs, and basic construction duties, for a large independent pharmacy consisting of over 20 pharmacy and office locationsCore Competencies & Responsibilities:Assist with general preventative maintenance to ensure building and equipment is safe and effective for useMonitor and perform minor building and systems repairs to ensure the property is functional, presentable, and safePaint and perform minor wall repairs to applicable areasDemonstrate proficiency and respond appropriately to the building fire and safety systemsPerform preventative maintenance and repairs on: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, doors, locks and hardwareHang sheetrock, tape and mudProvide and maintain toolsPerform assigned duties as prescribed by Facilities ManagerRespond to situations appropriatelyClean up after projects performed including removal of debris from the building and groundsCommunicates plans, needs and how it may affect others clearly and regularly relating to the maintenance being performed, issues you encounter, and assistance needed; if applicable, with manager, store personnel and maintenance team membersAssist and/or back up coworkersMaintain and operate work vehicleSecurely and safely load and pull car trailerComplete other duties as assignedPerformance Requirements:Possess a thorough knowledge of organizational policies, procedures, and systemsComply to all Astrup Companies policy and proceduresCreate a culture of positivity and excitement within the workplaceDevelop constructive and cooperative working relationships with otherteam members.
