The project manager supports the Transformation Office through developing and managing new projects focused on increasing student enrollment and student success, enhancing operational efficiency, and improving the socio-mobility of graduates; advising department project leads within the functional areas of Facilities, Enrollment Management, the Office of Career Services, the Extended Campus, and the Stakeholder Experience; creating project plans including the overall scope; selecting, organizing, and coordinating the project team; creating the project budget; managing the project execution; assessing and managing risk; taking responsibility for project time management; assessing progress against key performance indicators; ensuring quality of project deliverables; reporting to all stakeholders; managing the closing of the project. Primary Function of Organizational Unit North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (N.C. A&T) is an 1890 land-grant doctoral research university dedicated to learning, discovery, and community engagement. It is the largest historically black college or university (HBCU) in the nation and its enrollment exceeds 13,800 students, approximately 1500 of whom are graduate students. The students are served by more than 800 faculty, teaching at the baccalaureate, masters and doctoral levels. The university is committed to excellence in teaching and learning. The primary function of the N.C. A&T State University Transformation Office is to facilitate the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of projects focused on increasing student enrollment and student success; enhancing operational efficiency; and improving the socio-economic mobility of graduates. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree and 3 years experience in project management Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education Master's Degree Required License or Certification Is this position eligible for a remote or hybrid work arrangement, consistent with university and state policies. Hybrid (Employees are working part-time in the office to perform job tasks that require on-campus engagement, and the remaining time at home)
