They interact directly with employees, residents, resident family members, vendors, and professional contacts within the community. They provide training, supervision, and coaching of the clinical team while helping build a positive and energetic atmosphere within the community. Responsible for the day-to-day clinical operations of the community, while ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations, as well as company policies.If you are passionate about your work and driven by the desire to create a life full of purpose for our residents, apply today and become part of the Cogir Family!What Cogir has to offer you?Competitive salary, training, and growth opportunities.An inclusive, positive work environment where everyone has a voice.Heath, Dental, and Vision insurance.Basic Life Insurance covered by the employer.401K Plan with company match.Paid Vacation and Sick leave.Paid HolidaysEmployee Assistance Program.Employee Referral Bonus Program.Free meals at work, and more!What will you do as the Director of Nursing?Foster a resident-centered approach to the planning and delivery of services to residents, supporting residents' rights to participate in decision-making and treating residents with dignity and respect.Assess the health, functional, and psychosocial status of residents, initiating individualized service plans, proactively managing care and services for each resident, and maximizing their opportunity to remain in the assisted living or memory care environment.Establish and maintain the medication program.Oversee all hiring, promotions, disciplinary actions, and termination of employment of licensed nursing staff (LPN/LVN), Med Techs/CMA/CNAs, and all Care staff.Hands-on training, supervision, and staff municate regularly with residents' families regarding health care needs.Maintain current departmental policies, procedures, and licenses, following company, Federal, State, and local requirements.Ensure resident records and charting are current and up to date.Participate in the marketing efforts of the management team by representing the community in a positive manner to outside agencies.If you have these qualifications, we'd love to chat:Positive team player mentality and passion for serving seniors!RN/LPN nursing license in good standing.Minimum of 4 years working in geriatric nursing, including experience with medication administration, delivery systems, and pharmacies.Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory/management role; experience with budgets, staff development, training, and scheduling.An associate degree or higher is required; additional coursework in management is an asset.Outstanding organizational skills.Proficient computer literacy and good knowledge of Microsoft suite.Maintains current state-required certifications, like First Aid, CPR, and others.Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends, holidays, and overtime, to meet the requirements of the position.Capacity to be on-call 24/7.Meet all mandatory health requirements by State regulations.Has compassion and a special interest in working with the senior population, and individuals living with memory loss.About Cogir Senior LivingCOGIR Management USA delivered the Happy Living brand by listening attentively to the needs of American seniors, their families, and our employees.
