Lunch from 12-12:30pm. Private practice. No production goals to keep up with or HR department breathing down your neck.Group medical insurance plan available.We are seeking a skilled, enthusiasti, patient-centered Dental Hygienist to join our small dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality dental care and promoting good oral health practices to our patients## Responsibilities- Conduct dental cleanings and assist dentists during procedures- Perform patient assessments and discuss oral hygiene practices- Take and develop dental x-rays using Dexis Imaging Software- Maintain accurate patient medical records using Dentrix- Provide dental care for patients of all ages- Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy in daily tasks- Document all procedures accurately in patient charts## Experience### Required Skills:- Proficiency in dental imaging and patient assessment- Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software for recordkeeping- Knowledge of medical records management and documentation practices- Understanding of infection control procedures in a dental setting- Familiarity with medical terminology and anatomy### Nice-to-Have Skills:- Experience working with pediatric patientsJoin our team to make a difference in patients' oral health and work in a supportive environment that values your expertise!Job Type: Part-timePay: $38.50 - $44.00 per hourExpected hours: 24 per weekBenefits:* Dental insurance* Employee discount* Health insurance* Paid time offSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Day shift* No nights* No weekendsLicense/Certification:* Registered Dental Hygienist (Required)* Dental License (Preferred)Ability to Commute:* Grand Rapids, MI 49525 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Grand Rapids, MI 49525: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
