Registered Dental Hygienist

As a dental hygienist, you will be responsible for providing preventative care, educating patients on oral health, and assisting the dentist with dental procedures. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping patients achieve optimal oral health.Key Responsibilities:* Conducting oral health assessments and reviewing medical history* Cleaning teeth and removing tartar, stains, and plaque* Applying preventative materials such as fluoride and sealants* Educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care* Taking and developing dental x-rays* Assisting the dentist during procedures* Maintaining accurate patient records and charts* Sterilizing and maintaining dental equipment and instrumentsQualifications:* Associate's degree in dental hygiene or equivalent* Valid state dental hygiene license* CPR certification* Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team* Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records* Experience with dental software and x-ray equipment preferredSchedule: This is a part-time position, with approximately 16-40 hours per week.
