Dental Assistant, Periodontal Therapy Experienced Only

We are seeing a highly experienced only, dental assistant with knowledge & experience in periodontal treatment/therapy for our Southampton office. Travel to this office is a must, serious inquiries only!! This candidate must have at least 5 or more years experience and knows all periodontal surgeries, can take good x-rays, attention to detail and the needs of the office. In this position you will play a vital role in assisting the doctor to ensure the highest qualities of patient care.Please double check you have the right level of experience and qualifications by reading the full overview of this opportunity below.Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing the treatment room and instruments- Proficiency in taking dental x-rays (Dexis)- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Perform patient assessment, including taking vital signs and medical history- Maintain infection control protocols and ensure aseptic technique is followed- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy- Maintain accurate patient recordsRequirements:- Previous experience/knowledge of periodontal surgeries is a must- Proficient in using dental software- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with other staff members- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionalsDays/Hours are as is: (Hours change for the summer)Monday 8:30am - 5pm, 1hr lunchTuesday 8:30-5pm, 1hr lunchThursday 8:30am - 5pm, 1hr lunchGas Travel Bonus is providedJob Type: Part-timePay: $30.00 per hourExpected hours: 25 per weekBenefits:* Travel reimbursementSchedule:* Day shiftExperience:* Dental: 5 years (Required)Ability to Commute:* Southampton, NY 11968 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Southampton, NY 11968: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
