We guide patients in supplement personalization, weight management, exercise physiology, sleep optimization, and mental wellness. This position is primarily outpatient; we utilize a small hospitalist group for hospitalizations with a supportive role. Within our office we have full support with a medical assistant for blood draws, and an IV nurse for home or office IV drips. Short-term practice goals include aesthetic procedures and enhanced Longevity Medicine protocols for higher level care.We are looking to hire a Santa Barbara-based Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to assist with patient care in our beautiful newly redesigned Montecito office. The position would allow for autonomous practice with support & regular cross coverage with Dr Viglione to facilitate a team approach to comprehensive medical care. This is a unique position that necessitates a dynamic personality with a creative vision. Concierge medicine is heavily relationship-based and requires a caring/empathetic personality. Independent thinking with a strong knowledge base to interpret new information a must. Our patients seek innovation and are heavily data driven.*Ideal Candidate Profile:*● Experience: Minimum of two years of primary care experience, and three years as an NP or PA, with a specialty in high-cholesterol or internal medicine.● Qualities: Well-trained, confident, charismatic, with a good sense of humor.● Skills: Ability to work independently with collegiate support and participate in low volume home visits or hotel visits as needed, after hours emergency coverage.● Special Interests: Longevity, Anti-Aging Medicine, Integrative Medicine, or Lifestyle Medicine is preferred.● Expertise Preferred: blood draws, EKG, IV drips, basic urgent care knowledge, basic procedures including suturing, intramuscular injections, basic joint injections, and independent primary care.*Unique Aspects of Working at MCM:*● No Insurance Billing: Focus more on patient care without the burden of excessive paperwork.● Flexible Schedule: Ability to create a work schedule that balances professional and personal life effectively.
