This team member will be responsible for the following duties:Preparation of Federal and various state income tax returns for various entity types including, but not limited to individuals, partnerships and S corporationsClient bookkeeping including, but not limited to recording transactions and reconciling bank accountsPreparation of trial balances including supporting workpapers and reconciling account balances to subsidiary detailPreparing financial statementsPreparing Federal and various state payroll tax returnsPreparing local tax returns (sales, hospitality, property tax, etc.)Research tax issues and present concise analysis of findingsOther tasks as assignedThe ideal candidate for this position will meet the following qualifications and expectations:Bachelor of Science in AccountingHold a CPA license (Preferred)At least 3 years' experience in public accounting with tax preparation focusExperience using and supporting QuickBooks®Have advanced computer knowledge, basic accounting knowledge, have data-entry experience and typing skills, display excellent reliability, punctuality, professionalism, ability to follow detailed instructions, and ability to perform quality control checksMust have excellent reliability, punctuality, integrity, confidentiality, & professionalism
