We are open to hiring full-time OR part-time hygienists. Benefits include 401k and paid time off. Order NEW hand instruments of your choice!*Responsibilities in our hygiene column include:*-Periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, and implant maintenance visits. These visits may include the use of nitrous oxide, local anesthetic, ultrasonic and hand instrumentation, radiographs and/or adjuncts.-Periodontal charting information such as probing depths, recession, mobility, keratinized tissue, mucogingival defects, furcation involvement, etc. Someone will assist you during periodontal charting to type in your data.-Completing treatment notes for your patients. We have a template note prepared for your convenience for each type of visit that you can use as your base note.-Working with the team and periodontist to create an individualized treatment and oral hygiene education plan to help patients maintain or improve their dental health.We have new dental chairs and lights in each operatory, new cassettes and continuously updated instruments, ultrasonic scalers in each treatment room, and Freedom Pro polishing handpieces. If there are scalers you prefer, we will make sure to have those available to you or will order them.*Ideal Candidates:*-Love educating their patients on oral hygiene, the systemic relationship between periodontal health and the body, and up-to-date dental techniques.-Enjoy brainstorming ways to help patient's improve motivation or commitment to their health.-Are trained to use local anesthetic and nitrous oxide as necessary. (We can help you get certified for this if needed!)-Is interested in the potential future use of digital impressions and software for diagnostics and education, would like to learn more about how we use dental lasers in the practice, and understands the importance of sterile technique and performing at the highest standards for OSHA, cleanliness, and patient safety.*We are excited to hear from you about joining our team!
