Dental Hygienist (Part-time) 6 hours per week

Looking for 8 am - 2pm shift, one day per week. 45 minute appointments. PPO and cash practice. We perform digital dentistry.As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to perform dental cleanings and assist the dentist in various procedures. If you are passionate about oral health and have excellent communication skills, we would love to hear from you.Responsibilities:- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing- Take and develop dental x-rays- Conduct oral cancer screenings- Administer local anesthesia as directed by the dentist- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Dentrix or similar systems- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and sterile environment- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient careRequirements:- Valid state dental hygiene license- Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene (Bachelor's degree preferred)- Knowledge of vital signs and ability to accurately record them- Strong understanding of dental anatomy and oral health conditions- Ability to assess patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans- Comfortable working with patients of all ages, including pediatrics- Familiarity with medical records and documentation processesWe offer competitive compensation and benefits packages.
