A great attitude, a strong work ethic, and a desire to provide the very best in patient care are our top priorities.*Schedule: ** _*NO NIGHTS and NO WEEKENDS!!! *_We work Monday - Thur. 8am to 4pm and* Friday 8am to 2pm!* *Great work-life balance!!** We offer PTO, Sick leave, and Holiday Pay!* Competitive pay and benefits eligible after a 90-day waiting period!*Responsibilities** Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination.* Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history.* Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis.* Clean and help protect patients' teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride).* Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques).* Give instructions to patients after dental procedures.* Take X-rays or dental impressions.* Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases (including oral cancer).* Maintain documentation and charts on each patient.* Monitor supplies.*Requirements Desired:** Associates or Bachelor's in Dental hygiene* Valid NC Register Dental Hygiene License (Required)* BLS/CPR Certification_Village Family Dental is committed to being an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any form of discrimination or harassment.
