Having a broad scope of knowledge and experience to be able to address the needs of the medically complex as well as the mentally compromised residents.Demonstrates the ability to assess the health care needs of the resident, make a nursing diagnosis, transition this into an interdisciplinary plan of care utilizing all resources available. Then is able to communicate this plan to all care providers in a way that ensures continuity of care for resident.Demonstrates the ability to establish and maintain functional communications with staff, other disciplines, residents, families, medical staff and community.Treats residents, staff and facility community with respect and dignity.
