Must be 18 years old, Must be available to work weekends. #INDIVIncrease your chances of an interview by reading the following overview of this role before making an application.Current Openings: Per Diem (all shifts); and 24 or 32 hour positions (overnight/11pm-7:30AM)BenefitsPTOHealth and Dental InsuranceLife insuranceShort and Long Term Disability InsuranceHealth Care FSADependent Care FSAPaid Holidays/Floating HolidayPet Health Insurance ProgramsEmployee Assistance PlansRetirement Account AssistanceEmployee Appreciation ProgramsResponsibilities:Report to the Resident Care Director and Wellness NurseProvide personal care services for residents in a professional, caring, and efficient manner and in accordance with state guidelinesDocument all care appropriatelyReview and prepare shift change logs at the beginning and end of each shift, as well as orally summarize pertinent information for aides coming on dutyInform a licensed nurse of any changes in the resident's condition or needsAnswer emergency call system and respond appropriatelyReport all incidents to a licensed nurse and in-coming staffFollow proper procedures for the Self-Administered Medication Management systemAssess capabilities to determine needs for additional assistanceAssist with housekeeping duties, including resident laundry according to schedule or as needed.Perform dining room duties and assist with the serving of residentsAssist relatives, guests, and visitors, as neededAssist with activities programsMaintain a positive, professional calm, image, and environmentTake a team approach to performing dutiesComplete all required annual in-service trainingAdhere to all OSHA regulations and safety procedures when bending, lifting, and using equipmentRequirements:Must be currently certified as a nursing assistant or have successfully completed the certified home health aide program.Must understand the physical and emotional needs of elders, enjoy working with them, show understanding and patience and perform duties required to enhance the resident's environment and quality of life.We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
