*Inova Fairfax Hospital *and *Inova Alexandria Hospital *are looking for dedicated *Labor & Delivery Registered Nurses (RN) *to join the order to make an application, simply read through the following job description and make sure to attach relevant documents._For expectant parents, all of our facilities at Inova Women's Center on the Inova Fairfax Medical Campus offer spacious and beautifully decorated, private labor-delivery recovery rooms designed with your comfort in mind, yet fully equipped with state-of-the-art technology in case of unexpected complications. Our unit has 33 L&D beds and 6 C-Section ORs. Our nurse to patient ratio is 1:2. Inova Fairfax Hospital performs over 10,000 births each year and is a leader in care for high risk pregnancies. Our nursing staff is made up of highly skilled clinicians with experience in obstetric care. In-house anesthesiologists and neonatologists/pediatricians are available 24 hours a day.__Inova Alexandria Labor and Delivery is a 13-bed unit, complimented by 3 operating suites, 4 PACU beds, and 4 Clinical Decision beds. Approximately, 3,600 deliveries take place each year, including deliveries for high-risk obstetric patients. In our Clinical Decision Unit (Labor and Delivery Triage), we can care for as many as 450 patients a month. If RN has an Associate's Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 24 months of start date.* *Experience*: A minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting. 1 full year or more of Labor and Delivery experience is strongly preferred.* *Certification*: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Virginia or hold a privilege to practice in the State of Virginia under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
