As a designated stroke unit, our Registered Nurses are trained to provide specialty care to this specific population. Our Registered Nurses specialize in cardiac care and are certified in ACLS to recognize and intervene during emergencies. In addition to comprehensive patient assessments and diverse skill performance, our Registered Nurses collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to ensure patients receive high quality care.Qualifications:A diploma/degree from an accredited nursing school (a Bachelor's degree in Nursing is strongly preferred, or agreement to enroll within six months of employment)Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with the (MBON) Maryland Board of NursingBasic Life Support CPRAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 1 year of hire, within 18 months of hire if new graduate.#RNHPEEO Statement:Mercy Health Services is sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy.
