Alignment between Standards of Excellence (SoE) and the district's Theory of Action helps ensure that principals are able to focus on scholar achievement and that central office supports are timely and effective.Our Vision for Learning in a Post-Pandemic World:In our pursuit of a more fair, just, and good system of education, we want each of our learners, both each of our scholars and each of their educators, to be individually and collectively presented with academically / intellectually complex tasks that are worthy of their productive struggle and allow them authentic opportunities to demonstrate their work and their learning of academic content and transferable skills in a joyful and adventurous environment.THE OPPORTUNITY: Location: As AssignedReports To: Director, Nursing and Health ServicesHourly pay rate: $ 16.84Union: Cleveland Teachers Union 279Daily scheduled hours: 7:75Scheduled Weekly Hours: 38.75Assists in assessing, planning, and delivering care to scholars under the direction of an RN/LSN and participates in the implementation A of Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child (WSCC) approach in the educational setting.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESPerforms First Aid and CPRAdministers prescription medication as directed by an RN/LSNCollects and records data that contributes to an individual health plan of care directed by an RN/LSNPerforms nursing duties directed by an RN/LSNBills Medicaid for eligible servicesCoordinates with out-of-school health professionals (e.g., SYTE, mobile health clinics, etc.) at the direction of the RN/LSNProvides care for the physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs of the scholars and educators served regardless of developmental statusMaintains student health records (manual and computerized), e.g., immunization records, medication and contact log, etc., for the purpose of documenting activities and complying with mandated requirementsCommunicates with parents/caregivers, school authorities, and allied professionalsServes as the on-campus point of contact for the campus-integrated Heath Program under the direction of the RN/LSNQUALIFICATIONSLPN degree from an eighteen (18) month accredited LPN programCurrent LPN License from the Ohio Board of NursingCertified in First Aid and CPREffective communication skillsEducationTo ApplyPlease submit your resume and application using Workday, our online human capital management system.
