Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager Dallas, OK BancFirst Insurance Services: 5800 Granite Parkway, Suite 400 Plano, TX 75024 Full Time POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for servicing a book of business in a timely, accurate and positive manner with the input of the producer on the account, if a producer is on the account. This position may also provide a sales/consultative role while managing all aspects of the relationship to ensure a high level of service satisfaction. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: * Renewal & New Business * May initiate or attend meetings with the producer(s) to discuss marketing plans for accounts that expire up to 120 days in advance. * Reviews expiring exposure and requests exposure updates from the clients; on new business enters completed applications in EPIC provided by the producer. * In coordination with the producer prepares and sends out submissions to markets and/or quote products on-line. * Negotiates terms and pricing with underwriter. * Authority to execute and bind the Agency and its customers to insurance and finance contracts. * Review quotes, make recommendations, and verify that coverages are as desired and prepare proposal; * Bind Coverage with carrier prior to expiration; invoice all accounts within the month they are incepted; * Oversees the renewal process by working with account service team. Including but not limited to ensuring coverage is bound, issuing renewal certificates and auto identifications, auto-renewals are processed and account is invoiced in the proper month. * Works with service team to ensure the policies are received and prepared for delivery to customers. * Participates in regular meetings with the customer and assists in the customer insurance decisions. * Accounting/Audits * Responsible for resolving accounting discrepancies to producers and clients. * Works with producer(s) to manage accounts receivable; paying particular attention to balances over 90 days old. * General * Requests and tracks the processing of policy changes and endorsements; works with Processor/Assistants in execution of this process * Ensures the accuracy of information in the Agency Management System; * Issues certificates within 24 hours and Auto ID Cards * Orders Loss Runs when necessary; works with claims adjuster to assist in handling of claims as needed. * Responsible for the accuracy of work given to Processor/Assistant. * Processes endorsements w/ assistance from Processor/Assistant. * Generally handles larger and more complex accounts than AM III and book is larger in size in terms of number of accounts and/or commission handled. Book commission will typically exceed $800,000. * Maintains positive and professional working relationships with clients, carriers and other employees in the office. * Will mentor, train and possibly supervise processors, assistants or account managers. * May represent the Agency with customers and make decisions along with or separate and apart from the producer. PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS * High School education required with college degree preferred or equivalent experience &/or education * Typically has at least 6 years of experience as an Account Manager * Advanced knowledge of Commercial Property/Casualty coverages. * Current insurance license and typically maintains a CIC, CRM or other higher level professional designation. * Grasps computer technology including use of Word and Excel and other relevant Agency Operating programs. * Ability to maintain accurate work * Demonstrates professional tactful negotiation and persuasion skills to achieve objectives. * Organizational and Time Management skills to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines. * Verbal, written and interpersonal skills to interact with associates at all levels of responsibility.
