We are seeking an IT Coordinator to join our team in our Des Moines, IA Corporate office. The IT Coordinator is responsible for managing various IT-related tasks in support of both the department and overall company. This role is primarily responsible for the billing management, invoicing, hardware tracking, and cost backup reporting for the IT department. The IT Coordinator plays a vital role in helping the team effectively deliver IT services to the company. What You'll Do Every Day: Provide administrative support to the IT team (i.e. data entry, documentation, task management) Assist the IT team in preparing, organizing and maintaining invoices and monthly backup for services provided to project teams Verify, code and approve monthly IT charges from subcontractors and suppliers Assist with the jobsite setup and demobilization process Track equipment status and commitments related to department services Assist with guiding the remote setup and configuration of IT equipment at jobsites Assist with the management of existing and new contracts; current status, renewals and payments Maintain confidentiality; be attentive of social networking pitfalls where confidentiality could be leaked Adhere to all company policies, standards, and procedures Other duties and projects as assigned Some Business travel may be required Minimal after-hours work may be required What We're Looking For: Desired Experience: A minimum of one (1) years' experience in an IT related field is preferred. Experience in a fast-paced business environment and exposure to LEAN principles is desirable. Skills: Organization, business acumen, time management, problem solving, effective communication, attention to detail, initiative, discretion with sensitive and confidential information, adaptability, and prioritization abilities are all necessary skills for this role. Education: An Associates' Degree in a related field is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Technology: Proficiency with operating systems and basic computer software programs such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook. Employee must have the ability to learn other specific software.
