Admission to the college and its programs is competitive, and enrollment is approximately 815 students.Kettering College actively seeks, values, and celebrates individuals from diverse backgrounds, and we believe that the rich diversity of our students, faculty, and staff enhances the experience of those on our campus.Job Responsibilities:Teach a 300 level one semester Biochemistry course and a 100 level General Chemistry full year sequence and and other courses within the faculty member’s areas of qualification and interest function as Science department lab coordinator: organize stock room and all of its contents, keep current inventory of all chemicals/MSDS in the department, stock supplies, assist in lab set up and clean up, monitor and assure proper handling and disposal of all hazardous chemicalsOther duties and responsibilities expected of full time college faculty within the larger college communityQualifications:Minimum - Masters degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry area*The applicant should understand the distinctive mission of the college as a faith-based institution focused on health care education in the Seventh-day Adventist tradition and will demonstrate an ability to collaborate with faculty, administrators and leaders in our partner health care system.*Preferred:PhD and several years of college level teaching
