Job DescriptionThe Manager - Cloud Data Protection Operations will be a key member of Data Protection Services and will manage daily operations for Zero Trust, CASB, web proxy, cloud DLP and encryption capabilities to secure restricted and confidential data across M365, Cloud Storages, SaaS, and IaaS environments.Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities: Responsible for managing operations of cloud data protection capabilities through continuous improvement / continuous development strategies with minimal supervision. Track and maintain health, coverage, performance, currency, and effectiveness of cloud data protection platforms. Collaborate with build teams to create and tune data security policies to reduce false positives and align with current threat landscape. Develop and maintain internal documentation such as job-aids, procedures, knowledge base articles, and runbooks to support the operations of data security controls across the enterprise. Respond to security incidents and requests, partner with others to perform root cause analysis and corrective actions. Ability to provide on-call support when needed. Leverage behavioral analytics for event correlation and identification of high-risk events and support any related escalations. Continuously drive a simplified, consistent user experience at points of service engagement. Manage relationship with third-party vendors that provide data security technologies, services, and resources. Develop and maintain data protection dashboard, metrics roadmap, and scorecards.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 90,000Maximum: 180,000Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications 5+ years of steady career progression with information security work experience. 3+ years of experience with data security technology experience, including data classification, cloud DLP, CASB, web proxy and insider risk. 3+ years of experience with security controls alignment to key data security and privacy frameworks/regulations like NIST, FIPS 140-2, ISO, HITRUST, HIPAA, PCI, CPRA, GDPR. Demonstrated experience working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels on strategic and operational information security programs. Strong analytical abilities, verbal/written communication, and interpersonal skills. Quickly adapts to changing events, reprioritizing efforts, and realign resources to fulfil large scale / complex requests.Preferred Qualifications Strong knowledge of data protection techniques and best practices. Understanding of public cloud concepts, preferably AWS, Azure & GCP Knowledge of SASE, Zero Trust and Conditional Access frameworks and architecture Experience with Microsoft Purview Information Protection and Defender for Cloud Apps Overall understanding of network design and engineering, and knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, VLAN, HTTP/S, TLS and IP routing Industry certifications from PMI, ISC2, SANS, ISACA, IAPP or equivalent. Continuous learner well informed on technology trends, methodologies, and models. Agility to deal with a constantly changing business environment.
