Job DescriptionThe Senior Mobile Development Engineer II, reporting to the Exec Director, Flagship Mobile Apps, will work on the team that brings CVS customers their "Shopping Super-power" - the customer-facing Flagship CVS Shopping and Pharmacy apps. As a Principal Engineer, you will be helping advance our architecture and Mobile Product, working with cross-functional teams such as design, product, analysts to deliver great user experiences. You will partner with Apps Platform Engineers, Product Managers, Engineering Managers and fellow Feature Team engineers to build products used make our powerful omni channel shopping an easy and seamless experience. You will be considered a subject matter expert in software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle as well as in our e-Commerce domain. About this business unit: CVS Mobile Apps (aka Retail Apps) is the fastest growing business unit in the organization - more than million daily average users. Apart from engineering, the team consist of talented Product Owners and UX designers. We are looking for iOS and Android Engineers that will design, develop and test consumer-oriented Mobile Android applications in the Retail space. We have multiple openings - some are iOS and others are Android.Other responsibilities may include (but not limited to): Improve and maintain our mobile apps CI and CD infrastructure and pipelines. Provide high level tooling support to team engineers Collaborate to drive solutions that would reduce cost and time to market Be responsible for end-to-end application delivery including coordination with required teams for production deployment Continuously monitoring application health and KPIs, support triage of any production issues as and when needed Collaborate in troubleshooting complex data, features, service, platform issues and perform root cause analysis to proactively resolve product and operational issues Be an advocate of security best practices, champion and support the importance of security within engineering Provide technical guidance and mentoring to the fellow engineers in software design and development activities Job duties may change at any time due to business needsPay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 70,000Maximum: 140,000Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required QualificationsFor iOS: 7+ years of Software development experience with at least 5+ years in designing/developing iOS Mobile applications 2+ years of experience with modern iOS development frameworks such as SwiftUI 2+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams such as design, product, data teams to deliver great user experiences 2+ years of experience in influencing large organizations on best practices in Mobile iOS development 2+ years of experience in building in test from the start with TDD development experience. Continuous delivery in mobile, code review, static analysis, continuous integration, automation and functional testing (using XCUI and Snapshot)For Android: 7+ years of Software development experience with at least 5+ years in designing/developing Android Mobile applications 2+ years of experience with modern Android development frameworks such as Jetpack compose and Kotlin 2+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams such as design, product, data teams to deliver great user experiences 2+ years of experience in influencing large organizations on best practices in Mobile Android development 2+ years of accessibility experiencePreferred Qualifications Experience designing retail or ecommerce applications Experience in handling multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Experience with authenticated session using OAuth and authenticated tokens Significant contributions of released Customer facing applications on the Apple storeEducationBachelor Degree or aboveBusiness OverviewBring your heart to CVS Health Every one of us at CVS Health shares a single, clear purpose: Bringing our heart to every moment of your health.
