Job DescriptionThis Advisor level Solution Strategist in Retail Analytics & Behavioral Change (A&BC) unit supports Analytics Engineering (Retail), specifically Pharmacy Growth/Minute Clinic/ EPIC and inter-disciplinary areas and works with various CVS Health business teams and cross-competency teams completing tasks related to business solution planning and strategizing, business case development, documenting and managing business requirements throughout the development lifecycle. Additionally, this individual will work collaboratively with business representatives, Project Management, and various IT teams to develop and implement the specific technology and architecture necessary to deliver business solutions.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 70,000Maximum: 140,000Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications 5+ years of IT experience 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis/ Business Systems Analyst, Project Management experience along with leading Test /QA during the SDLC (software development life cycle) 5+ years' experience in the project life-cycle - including business planning and analysis, data analysis, data modeling, data quality, data mining, process analysis and design, business, and functional requirements analysis, use case analysis, testing 4+ years' experience working in dynamic cross-competency teams using a structured project methodology, managing applications using SQL, JSON, XML, Rally, Jenkins, NoSQL, Agile/Scrum methodology and document complex business processesPreferred Qualifications Applying knowledge of JSON, XML, API's, systems, procedures, and applications to be able to recommend improvements and efficiencies where applicable Strong analytical skills, ability to analyze and document complex business processes, work on multiple programs involving business intelligence (BI), reporting and/or the Data warehouse projects And knowledge of systems, procedures, and applications to be able to recommend improvements and efficiencies where applicableProblem solver, gather and interpret relevant data and information in a fast-paced environment Proven ability to provide and produce clear and well organized documentation Ability to work independently and be able to lead the team both onsite and offshore; self-motivator Ability to Oversee/manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently Risk assessment, negotiation and problem resolution skills Working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Visio, Power point) Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills Ability to bridge communication among technical and non-technical project staff and customers Demonstrate a sense of urgency in completing task and resolving issues in order to deliver a quality project on time and within budget.5+ years of IT experience 5+ years' experience working in a Solution Architect, Strategist or Sr. Business Analyst role or Sr. Software engineer role. Ability to analyze data to understand trends and utilize to develop business solutions Ability to perform queries for data analytics to assist in formation of requirements, solutions and issue resolution Prior experience in health care field is desirable, especially in the retail pharmacy SQL Database and Big Data, Cloud (Azure or Snowflake) experience is a plus Ability to build client relationships and create client satisfaction throughout the project life-cycle Previous application build, analytics solutioning experience and Test/QA/UAT Understand healthcare data to design interfaces for downstream applications Knowledge of REST API's and web services and service-oriented architecture. Previous healthcare or software engineer or solution strategy experience is a plus Collaborate with the Business Analysts and Business Partners throughout the requirements effort. This includes providing guidance, direction, feedback and coaching to ensure team effectiveness.Lead or perform current state analysis to assist in the definition of new concepts. Partner with the business to define scope, play a leadership role in business problem solving. Drive innovative technology solutions aligned with C CVS Health's business strategies. Ensure the requirements are comprehensive, clear, testable, well documented and maintained. Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the RX, non-Rx, Retail Personalization areas, Design, and Interfaces with Other Systems (per project). Data Analysis using SQL Queries, MS Excel and reporting using SQL Server Reporting and Tableau. Supporting system components during End-to-End testing, system testing, and during promotion of these components to Production Environment. Must have hands on knowledge of Data Warehousing, Data Analytics and Business Intelligence l landscape.Knowledge of data warehouse software development life cycles (SDLC) and Agile including Project Management and BI analytics using Lean and Agile.EducationBachelor's degree in quantitative field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience.
