Job DescriptionAbout the TeamThe Front Store Growth Analytics team is helping lead the effort to transform healthcare and drive improved consumer experience by partnering with key business areas across CVS Health to deliver impactful analytic solutions and insights. As a member of the Analytics & Behavior Change Merchandising & Pricing Analytics team, you will be at the forefront of delivering high visibility analytic projects for key CVS Retail strategic priorities. Specifically, you will have the opportunity to drive revenue and customer satisfaction in CVS Health's Front Store business using advanced analytic solutions to optimizing assortment, promotion and pricing decisions. We're looking for analytical enthusiasts to drive customer engagement and profitability in the front store using advanced analytics, predictive modeling, statistics, and business acumen. We are a fast-paced team focused on building innovative analytic solutions using AI/ML and cloud capabilities. About the Job As a Lead Director, Data Science, you will lead a technical data science team and partner with merchandising and pricing business stakeholders to deliver business insights with advanced analytics and models using best in class cloud and AI platforms. We are looking for talented individuals who have a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and a desire to deliver high quality end to end intuitive and impactful analytic products using advanced data driven approaches. Top skills include retail merchandising and pricing domain knowledge, problem solving, stakeholder management, and leading a technical team (e.g. analytic strategy, experimentation, statistics, predictive modeling and optimization). The Director, Data Science role will:tLead our merchandising and pricing analytics team of 6+ data scientists, leading their day-to-day work and contributing to their learning and training agendatOwn the design and build of end-to-end analytics solutions to measure and optimize merchandising decisions in assortment, promotion and pricing space using statistics, visualizations and AI/ML techniquestCollaborate with business stakeholders to develop analytic strategy / roadmap, translate ambiguous problems into frameworks to support retail strategic prioritiestServe as single point of contact for merchandising data science solutions, develop and present meaningful and insights-driven materials on analytical results with recommendations to guide stakeholders and senior leadershiptInteract with internal and external peers and management to share progress and/or to gain acceptance of new or enhanced technology / business solutionstLeverage in-depth knowledge of Retail Merchandising and Pricing business processes and translate key drivers of business value to analytic opportunitiestDefine objectives and milestones to meet needs of business and establish / track analytic portfolio impact to ensure team is working on the right thingstDevelop and maintain relationships with wide range of stakeholders including business partners, IT, other data and analytic teams, Legal, etc.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 140,000Maximum: 280,000Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
