Job DescriptionThe Lead BI Engineer will be part of BI CoE team focused on delivery of industry leading enterprise standard BI applications supporting key business initiatives. The Lead BI Engineer will be responsible for establishing robust architecture framework, partner with product & design teams on solution design and deliver user focused applications. Other responsibilities include:tUnderstand key company initiatives and identify opportunities to leverage BI tools & technologies generate industry leading applicationstDefine, develop, and deploy analytic applications for cross company business partners including executive leadership, operational leadership, and store management.tResearch and understand the organization's vision, goals, and strategies as well as business BI consumption needs of multiple groupstConceive, design, and implement technology solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes, and investigating problem areastAct as a technical advisor and mentor to BI engineers tPartner with product and design teams delivering the BI projects tEvaluate vendors/technologies and prove out new tools/capabilities quickly through POCs/POVs and provide readouts to the management teamstPartner with functional and business stakeholders to understand strategic business analytics requirementstProvide guidance in driving solutions with effective issue management and communication to key stakeholders while delivering successful end resultsPay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 115,000Maximum: 230,000Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required QualificationstMinimum 7 years of experience in delivering Business Intelligence and analytics initiatives with a demonstrated track record of business impactt5-7 years of experience with BI Architecture & Solution design tMinimum 5 years of experience in MicroStrategy and TableautMinimum 5 years of experience in SQL and relational database modelstStrong understanding of dimensional modeling and proficiency in understanding semantic models, data models, metadata and BI/DW methodologiestStrong BI and analytics architecture backgroundtStrong ability to communicate technical concepts and implications to business partnerstDemonstrated ability to design and build data and analytics solutions in close collaboration with the business, to generate immediate value for the enterprise with minimal iterationstStrong knowledge of data warehousing ecosystemstExperience using advanced analytics tools to analyze large data sets from multiple data sources in enterprise data platformstDemonstrated experience reviewing current state system architectures and designing future state roadmapsPreferred QualificationstExperience and understanding of any other leading BI products including Thoughtspot, Looker and Power BI tProfessional certifications in Tableau & MicroStrategy tHealthcare sector experience preferredEducationtBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Information technology, or related fieldBusiness OverviewBring your heart to CVS Health Every one of us at CVS Health shares a single, clear purpose: Bringing our heart to every moment of your health.
