Job DescriptionThe Facility Service Manager is responsible for the maintenance and support of facility, infrastructure, and material handling equipment within the Distribution Center. Additional responsibilities include, ensuring regulatory compliance, CVS policy adherence, preparing cost controls, adhering to budgets, and identifying opportunities to improve safety and performance within the building and its material handling systems. The role will require strong organizational competencies, a proactive mindset, and the ability to multitask in a highly dynamic environment. The Facility Service Manager is responsible for a team of technical and mechanical specialists and will be expected to demonstrate positive engagement and leadership with a strong emphasis on safety, performance, and accountability. Managerial experience in a union facility is helpful.1. Demonstrate competency in maintenance planning and budgeting2. Effective knowledge of facility operations and equipment management including implementing process improvements, effective workflow management, and implementing preventative maintenance programs3. Strong understanding of maintenance practices of critical operating equipment including LOTO, hazard identification and appropriate PPE requirements4. Track record of analyzing risk, developing contingencies and making solid decisions so as not to negatively impact production while maintaining the highest standards in safety5. Effective communicator, able to interact and influence all levels of the organization including cross functional departments of the organization and vendors/contractors6. Knowledge of computerized maintenance management, procurement and service ticket systems7. A self-starter who can take initiative and drive results without oversite8. Ability to effectively conduct Root Cause Analysis and develop strategies to improve uptime and building availabilityPay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 60,300Maximum: 130,000Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications-5+ years of experience managing skilled trades facilities personnel-5+ years of supervisory experiencePreferred Qualifications1. Engineering degree or background (Industrial, Systems, Mechanical, Electrical)2. OSHA certifications (10, 30, 50)3. Additional certifications in Industrial Safety or First Aid4. Competency in Ariba Procurement and Service Channel systems5. Fluent in the Microsoft Suite of product as well as AutoCad6. Understanding of conveyor controls and technologies7. Strong analytical capabilities using tools such as CMMS and SAP8. Subject matter expertise in powered industrial equipmentEducationHigh school equivalent and associates degree is required.
