Job DescriptionWe are looking for innovative leaders who think big and push boundaries on how consumers experience healthcare and retail. We're seeking candidates with consulting, marketing, and/or digital experience looking to join a dynamic internal strategic planning group within a rapidly growing and transforming Fortune 5 company. CVS Retail Marketing, responsible for reaching 100M households and delivering $1B+ in annual revenue, guides customer-centric strategic roadmaps, prioritization, and execution of marketing strategies, campaigns, store experiences, and digital touchpoints that deepen relationships with our customers. We're expanding our centralized Strategy & Planning team, responsible for scoping and delivering internal strategy consulting projects for CVS's Pharmacy, Clinic, Vaccine, and Front-Store Retail marketing teams to help them achieve customer and business growth.Our Manager of Marketing Strategy & Planning will be in a unique position to work closely across a variety of cross-functional teams across Strategy, Operations, Digital, IT, Finance, Front-Store and Rx Merchandizing, and various centers of excellence. This role will report to Marketing Strategy & Planning leaders and have frequent exposure to executive leadership such as the Chief Marketing Officer, Marketing VPs, and business leaders. This role requires a unique blend of deep strategic, analytical, and collaborative mindset to empower prioritization based on business, consumer, market, and competitive shifts. Our nimble, autonomous, and entrepreneurial Manager should be very comfortable analyzing data & KPIs, working independently and proactively, synthesizing complex insights, communicating actionable recommendations to a wide variety of stakeholders/leaders, and facilitating execution to deliver results. To support our Pharmacy, Immunizations, Front Store Retail, and Health Services Marketing teams meet critical business and customer goals, our Manager's core responsibilities include: Support creating the annual Retail Marketing strategic plan and guidance on associated executional resourcing, budget allocation, and business goals across Pharmacy, Health Services, and Front Store portfolio teams Conduct monthly and quarterly reporting on business, customer, and workflow KPIs to help facilitate making in-year optimizations to strategic and operating priorities Centrally manage Retail and Enterprise marketing calendars and go-to-market activities, to ensure cross-portfolio team plans are fully integrated and customer-centric Bring together various qualitative and quantitative data sources to understand the consumer shifts and drive that into focus areas for business prioritization As an internal consultant, assist other marketing teams with market sizing, competitive intelligence and benchmarking, go-to-market strategy, customer segmentation and targeting, and omni customer journey mapping Evaluate new business models and opportunities, as well as track the evolving Marketing technology space to continue to advance thinking and prioritization of technology investments Lead the framing of goals, approach, and measurement that drive increases in brand equity, awareness, consideration, traffic, and conversion/retention across physical stores and digital properties Scope and drive medium/long-term strategy projects across various functional areas by developing a cohesive cross-retail learning agenda to identify opportunities in customer omni-experience, marketing channel/platform effectiveness, spend allocation, etc. Attend marketing, retail, and industry trade events to stay attuned to emerging digital business trends and opportunities; proactively bring critical consumer, market, competitive, and technology trends to leaders with potential implications and opportunities for CVS Health Partner with external vendors and internal insights and analytics teams to assess consumer omni-experience metrics and performance-based analytics on an ongoing basis and be the champion for continually progressive thinking and optimization Manage and develop strong, collaborative relationships with partners across the organization and lead cross-functional team to ensure consistent communication and execution of strategy Regularly build high quality executive level presentations outlining consumer activity, strategic roadmaps and recommendations, and project management for critical growth initiativesPay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 60,300Maximum: 130,000Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
