Event Coordinator

Job DescriptionThe Event Coordinator is responsible for organizing and managing Omnicare events and event attendance for the purposes of marketing Omnicare services. This includes planning the event, securing sponsors and vendors; managing trade show logistics and ensuring all the necessary materials are at the event to ensure success; coordinating team attendance; and collecting data to track results and share success information with leaders. This individual will coordinate with the Sales Account Management and Clinical Services teams. This position reports to the Omnicare Senior Manager of Marketing. Plan, implement and manage components with meetings, tradeshows, sponsorships that support internal business partner goals and objectives.Create, plan and execute event project plans, timelines, budgets and executional components within desired meeting, tradeshow, sponsorship as assigned.Partner with internal teams and stakeholders to establish appropriate event coordination and activities; clearly communicate objectives, project status and updates on a regular basis. Accountable for relevant external vendor relationships and identifying the most cost-effective options to meet the business requirements. Support efforts to manage budgets for all shows and events, offering go-forward strategies to enhance ROIMeet regularly with internal business partners to understand how events generated leads, grew market share, and increased revenue to determine ROI.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 43,700Maximum: 100,000Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications 3+ years event-based marketing and/or event project management experiencePreferred QualificationsAbility to identify risk, market research and analytics needs.Ensures compliance policy and procedures are followedAble to manage multiple high-level projects with senior leaders in the organization, and completes all required approvals and processes required Experience ownings all logistics for agreed upon events from start to finish, including pre-event planning, collaboration across multiple teams, project management, onsite event support, registration management and other dutiesExperience Project managing multiple, complex projects and timetables successfully in a collaborative extremely fast paced environmentDemonstrated experience partnering with external relationships (agencies, vendors) and working with cross-functional internal teams; creative services, marketing ops, which support direct efforts and collaborate closely to develop and successfully execute programsProven skills to research and report creative event options, off-site venues, and entertainment based on program format and budgetEducationBachelors Degree or equivalent work related experienceBusiness OverviewBring your heart to CVS Health Every one of us at CVS Health shares a single, clear purpose: Bringing our heart to every moment of your health.
