Job DescriptionThis role support three MMP plans, with contributions toward month-end close analyses, quarterly forecasting, annual Budget planning, and state-level Medicaid financial operations. This includes supporting membership, revenue and medical expense forecasts, in addition to state-level and product-level reporting. Operating with oversight from the Mgr, MMP Finance and Lead Director, this role requires financial modeling and an understanding of operational finance, as this role will support both forecasting and state reporting. Financial acumen, a customer service mindset and ability to partner with the business and actuarial teams is important.Key areas of ownership include: Review month-end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations Help prepare monthly financial statements and transactions Contribute to Medicaid state reporting, including monthly/quarterly/annual reporting and encounter reporting reconciliation to financial statements Support annual budgeting and forecast processes, articulate changes in forecast and explain variances of complex products Work with Medicare SG&A team to project operating costs Collaborate with cross functional teams on operational issues under the direction of Mgr Finance and Lead DirectorPay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 43,700Maximum: 100,000Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
