The EDML team focuses on data and ML platform design and development aimed at improving the productivity and efficacy of thousands of fellow data scientists and engineers throughout the organization. This foundation will facilitate hundreds of millions of ML enabled member and consumer touchpoints. Our work is ambitious and far reaching with the potential to become a new internal standard, an OSS project, or differentiating intellectual prop.Role Responsibilities: The Designer contributes to solving complex business challenges while being an advocate for users, leveraging experience with user-centered design processes Foundational characteristics of the Designer include empathy, creative problem-solving, comfort with uncertainty, collaboration, iteration, communication skills, excellent technical design skills, and curiosity Partners closely with Product leaders and Data Scientists throughout the organization Communicate user needs (e.g., storytelling, leveraging data) and demonstrate how proposed designs solve those needs to the internal team This role will support the Enterprise ML & Feature Platform within the EDML OrganizationPay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 75,000Maximum: 167,000Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications3+ years of experience in UX, UI, or blended UX/UI design Experience working in Figma, Sketch, InVision, and/or other industry standard Experience with UX design journey mapping, user flows, wire framing, and prototyping Experience in UI design (strong grasp on visual hierarchy, typography, color theory, and design patterns) Strong portfolio of work including examples of mobile web, desktop, or other digital experiencesPreferred QualificationsExperience in designing and delivering work from initial concepts all the way to successful market launches Familiarity with the data science lifecycle Familiarity with market leading and OSS software in the data science and ML space Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, Markdown, and other web technologies Experience working within an Agile or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Agile Methodology as a development process Understanding of design system and component-based design Knowledgeable about Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and able to collaborate with Accessibility team to arrive at solutions to arrive at solutions that are accessible and inclusiveEducationBachelor's degree in Design, User Experience, Graphic Design, Information Design, Product Design, Human Factors, or equivalent/relevant work experienceBusiness OverviewBring your heart to CVS Health Every one of us at CVS Health shares a single, clear purpose: Bringing our heart to every moment of your health.
