As an Administrative Assistant - Nurse Scheduler, you will support the Home Infusion Nursing department by assisting with assembling and maintaining patient clinical charts and track nursing visits with patients. Make a difference by bringing your personal touch and compassionto a patient'slife by documenting all nursing communication and ensuring patient clinicalcharts are up-to-date and accurate. Key Responsibilities: Gather information for initialadmission packets for new patients; review all new charts to ensure necessarynursing paperwork is included, tracking and timely retrieval of signedPlan of Treatments and nursing orders. Obtain required co-signatures from a nurse or pharmacist; initiating discharge summaries, discharging patient therapies in the system. Manage master schedule for nurses determining optimal staffing coverage for full-time, per diem and agency nurses. Track visit corrections and notifying the primary nurse case manager ofpatient therapy changes or nursing orders. Verify daily nursing visits, coordinate changes in scheduled visits. Retrieve nursing reports and on-call messages daily, data entry of nursing notes and other related duties as directed by the supervisor. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year experience with medical terminology. Minimum 1 year experience in customer service. Excellent communication skills, including a strong command of the English language and the ability to clearly articulate program details to customers over the telephone. Proficient to advanced PC skills, including MS Windows-based applications specifically Excel, Outlook and Word.Preferred Qualifications Experience in the home health or healthcare industry.
