Job DescriptionThe Account Director for National Accounts is responsible for a large complex book of business. Responsible for strategic growth and retention for the book of business. Deliver profitable renewals with a focus on membership retention, profitability, increased revenue, and new products and programs.Build and maintain a positive relationship with senior-level decision-makers at customers and consultants. Act as a senior strategic business partner to constituentsto optimize the positioning of Aetna's products and services and to attain profitability and membership objectives.Prepares client for renewal by explaining cost drivers of benefit plan, offers solutions to reduce costs, delivers renewal to client and producer. Formulates complex financial decision recommendations and presents them to management.Leads finalist presentations related to either new business or growth/cross-sell opportunities on designated customers.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 60,400Maximum: 120,800Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications- 10 years in a sales and account management environment at an insurance carrier or insurance consulting firm or experience in customer facing and product areas. - Experience with large corporate customers is required - Able to travel up to 25% nationally- Health Insurance license in all 50 states required or willing to obtain within 90 days of hire.Preferred Qualifications- Excellent presentation skills and strong relationship development skills- Ability to be flexible to meet customer demands.
