Electrical Assembler

Essential Functions:Lead technician supporting development, Integration and debug of new products, test sets/fixtures.Lead technician supporting the troubleshooting and repair of existing products, test sets/fixtures.Lead technician supporting development of Rack and stack design of test sets/fixtures.Assembly and documentation of products, test sets, test fixtures and wire harnesses.Assembly and documentation of breadboards, proto-types and circuit card Assemblies.Troubleshoot and repair of circuit card assemblies.Oversight of outsourced mechanical and electrical fixture design and assembly.Oversight of outsourced circuit board assemblies.Oversee day to day activities in the electronics and assembly labs.General upkeep and lab organization.Replenishing lab supplies.Tool and Fixture organization.Safety compliance monitoring.Tracking and monitoring lab activities.Ensure equipment is calibrated as requiredOperational use of LabVIEW with minor debug skills. Operational use of commercial software used on products and test stations.Run and document tests as needed including Alpha/Beta tests.Ability to design and layout basic printed wiring boards and Circuit card assemblies using online tools like PCB123. (1-2 layer Breakout boards, etc.)Ability to verify complex multi-layer printed wiring board gerber files against schematic.Work closely with purchasing and/or use online ordering to purchase components for projects keeping in mind any traceability terface with customers on product design and assembly.Ensure product schedule is maintained and report status.Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.Ability to operate test and measurement equipment.Oversee and train assembly technicians.Qualifications:Associates degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent work experienceExperience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Preferred Additional Skills:Ability to collaborate and work in a team environmentPossess excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize tasks while faced with anomaliesEEO/M/F/Disabled/Vet
