Job DescriptionAs a RPh Supervisor you will be responsible for supporting the Med D Operations team's clinical strategy to achieve operational excellence and provide consistent clinical decisions for our beneficiaries. This supervisor is responsible for managing the productivity, quality, and attendance of the Clinical Pharmacists. He/she must be able to guide his/her pharmacist direct reports to apply their clinical, regulatory, and systems knowledge to make accurate and timely decisions for our beneficiaries. The Pharmacist Supervisor must also be able to review clinical coverage determination and appeal requests as a licensed pharmacist (per state requirements), in accordance with CMS Chapter 18 guidance, which states only a pharmacist can deny a coverage determination for Medicare Part D beneficiaries. He/she must be knowledgeable in all aspects of the coverage determination and appeals processes and assist in meeting clients expectations regarding efficiency, services levels, privacy maintenance and quality decision making. The Supervisor will work as part of the team to meet business unit objectives and will be responsible for applying their clinical expertise in their decisions, as well as potentially participating in various clinical projects. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate an ability to be innovative and proactive to resolve problems, possess good people skills and exercise good judgment to contribute to a positive team environment. You will also need to be flexible with working a rotating schedule, including weekends.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 82,000Maximum: 176,800Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
