Working together, we deliver innovative solutions to encompass the needs of the community in ways that best suit them.The Business Development Representative has responsibility for planning and executing sales actions among designated regional prospects in order to meet and exceed budget, profitability and revenue targets. Duties include: Responsible for the full life cycle of sales activity related to acquiring new business. This includes facilitation of meetings with prospect clients within LTC facilities, forecasting, contracting, pricing, negotiation, participation in Trade Shows, and Conventions. In partnership with operations, ensures the successful on-boarding of new accounts. Effectively demonstrates the Omnicare Value Proposition. Maintains and improves relationships with clients by providing support, information, and mentorship; Researches and recommends new opportunities that improve profitability and meet customer service needs. Acts as a trusted advisor to customers through a comprehensive understanding the business. Regularly contributes to the overall effectiveness of the entire market-based team. Assesses risks and opportunities and develops actions plans to address. Maintains ongoing market knowledge and shares this information with the team to maintain market leadership status. Directly responsible for delivering new sales revenue numbers for the designated prospects and/or key account targets within designated regions. Consistently and effectively utilizes the customer relationship management system and available marketing and sales effectiveness tools and resources. The designated region for this position is:Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 60,400Maximum: 120,800Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required QualificationsNotwithstanding the language in the below COVID Requirements section that references exemption from the vaccine requirement for medical or religious reasons, successful candidates for this position must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to their start date. Since some of the essential functions of this position must be performed within our clients' facilities, no exemptions from the vaccination requirement will be allowed for this position.Required: Minimum of two years of demonstrated full life-cycle sales experience within a complex services organization. Ability to travel a multi-state territory up to 25% of the time including overnight travel as needed. May require but is not limited to flights, overnight stays, local travel, travel on short notice and other travel deemed necessary by the Company. Possess a valid and current driver's license and a reliable vehicle that is appropriately insured to meet the requirements of the job. Please note that in some states and roles, you may be required to provide proof of full vaccination or an approved reasonable accommodation before you can begin to actively work.Preferred QualificationsPreferred: Proven Business Development Representative with 5-7 years' experience working with key business professionals of varying organization sizes, from local to regional scale. Strong skills in communication, collaboration, analytics, problem solving, time management, and business insight. Working knowledge of computers in a Windows/Microsoft Office environment, including Word, Excel and Power Point.
