Job DescriptionThe Health Plan Client Engagement Reporting team is looking for a Senior Analyst who will collaborate with key stakeholders to assess business needs and develop robust analytic and reporting solutions that drive efficiency and data accuracy. This Sr. Analyst position will provide analytic support for the Retiree Drug Subsidy (RDS) program and is responsible for analyzing, compiling and reporting RDS subsidy drug data generated from multiple internal/external data systems in order to ensure maximum subsidy benefits for clients. This position will be required to gain in-depth knowledge of the various CMS mandated Medicare programs and identify opportunities for operational efficiencies. The Sr. Analyst will work within a high-performing analytics team to identify and investigate quality issues and maintain relationships with internal/external partners to ensure effective and accurate communication.The Sr. Analyst must have the ability to develop an understanding of the Government guidance, underlying data elements, and basic SQL code utilized to create reports that identify data anomalies. This position will interface with internal stakeholders and data owners, CVS Caremark clients, CMS/RDS vendors, and external data auditors.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 43,700Maximum: 97,400Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications2+ years of Healthcare industry experience with at least 1 year working with Medicare or Quality reporting Basic analytic skills, with a proven ability to solve logical challenges and synthesize data to develop meaningful insights Ability to think critically and to multitask with timely follow through. Self-starter with ability to work with team members or independently on multiple projects with little supervision Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and ability to learn quickly Ability to identify and diagnose data inconsistencies and anomalies Creative problem solver, flexible, proactive and ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment Ability to work within a climate of ambiguity Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Experience with analytical tools such as VBA, SQL or related applicationsPreferred Qualifications2+ years of Healthcare industry experience with at least 1 year working with Medicare or Quality reporting Basic analytic skills, with a proven ability to solve logical challenges and synthesize data to develop meaningful insights Ability to think critically and to multitask with timely follow through.
