We are seeking an Equipment Engineer II for a very important client.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.Evaluates, selects and orders equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective for the manufacture of company products.Oversees the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.Maintains the system and current records on equipment, controlling software, calibration, upgrades and safety issues.Studies and improves equipment performance and reliability.Establishes programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing stalls, validates and documents new or replacement equipment and their controlling software programs, including controlled software storage and access.Provides technical support for manufacturing equipment repair and manufacturing process improvements.Defines and writes calibration and preventative maintenance schedules.Provides subject matter expertise during notified body audits of the manufacturing site.TECHNICAL SPECIALIST CAREER STREAM: An individual contributor with responsibility in our technical functions to support existing technology or introduce new technology and solutions in manufacturing. Formulates, delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals. The majority of time is spent supporting manufacturing, troubleshooting and solving equipment issues, managing the compliance of existing systems and developing or recommending and implementing new systems or initiatives related to new technologies that improve manufacturing results ? from idenification to implementation - while adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills. Will lead or support the development of equipment, tooling or fixtures to improve the performance of manufacturing workflows.DIFFERENTIATING FACTORSAutonomy: Established and productive individual contributor.Works independently with general supervision on larger, moderately complex projects / anizational Impact: Sets objectives for own job area to meet the objectives of projects and assignments.Ownership for the completion of project milestones.May have some involvement in cross functional novation and Complexity: Problems and issues faced are general, and may require understanding of broader set of issues or other job areas but typically are not complex.Makes adjustments or recommends enhancements in systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of job munication and Influence: Communicates primarily and frequently with internal contacts.External interactions are less complex or problem solving in nature.Contacts others to share information, status, needs and issues in order to inform, gain input, and support decision-making.Leadership and Talent Management: May provide guidance and assistance to entry level professionals and / or employee in Support Career Stream. Requirement: The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: Experience overseeing the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, and validations of same.Experience with documenting equipment installations, including drawings, schematics, validations, and software controlExperience troubleshooting manufacturing problems and ensuring high up-time of equipmentEducation Required: BS Electrical Engineering, or BS Mechanical Engineering or similar with the required experienceYears? Experience Required: I need someone who can work independently and figure out what needs to be done to comply with the company and regulatory requirements. Therefore, I would like to see 4 years experience, or 2 with an advanced degreeRequired Knowledge and Experience: Requires practical knowledge and demonstrated competence within job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. ? 214.2(h)( 4)(iii)(A) and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 2 years of experience.Requires experience; using and modifying Labview programs, and developing implementing and refining equipment solutions in manufacturing workflows. Knowledge of RF technology a plus. Experience with Solidworks a plus.
