We are seeking a Sr Reliability Engineer or a very important client.JOB SUMMARYAs a Senior Reliability Engineer at the company you will be responsible for reliability engineering activities that support the company's best-in-class RF hybrid devices, packaged ICs and bare die. In this role your primary focuses are on new product qualification and ongoing reliability studies. You will use your ability to design and conduct reliability studies, analyze data, draw accurate conclusions, and clearly communicate your results to internal company stakeholders on multiple programs running in parallel. You will also take the lead on failure investigations, and activities and initiatives that continually improve company reliability performance. This role reports to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES? Own reliability activities for the full portfolio of company devices, from new product introduction through to ongoing monitoring of production released products.? Responsible to create, analyze and maintain system reliability models based on industry accepted quality and reliability concepts and methodologies. ? Manage multiple new product qualifications in parallel with respect to individual schedules and budgets. ? Work with the development engineering team to design robust qualification plans for RF hybrid devices, packaged ICs and bare die using device and component appropriate methods and conditions. ? Coordinate reliability and durability tests at the technology, product and/or package level with the quality engineering team following industry standards such as MIL-SPEC, JEDEC, space grade certifications and/or customer specified reliability testing. ? Review source control documents to determine the appropriate stress tests and test methods, electrical and mechanical limits required.? Coordinate with external test labs to get products tested and supervise the labs to ensure the tests were performed according to the test conditions.? Analyze stress test results using industry accepted quality and reliability concepts and methodologies, and create clear, concise reports and recommendations to team members and management.? Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions stemming from reliability qualification failures. ? Understand electrical and physical failure analysis techniques, such as SEM, CSAM, OM, Thermal Microscopy and FIB.? Devise and own the ongoing reliability monitoring (ORM) program to ensure the quality of company products is maintained at the highest levels of quality.? Support the evaluation and selection of reliability test equipment consistent with companyproduct portfolio and strategy.Promote an ethics-based business culture in the organization.? Design and track reliability metrics and analyses of product performance variation.? Support ongoing quality and reliability improvements in Manufacturing by applying knowledge and practice of methodologies and techniques including FMEA, statistical limit setting and SPC. Requirement: The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS? Bachelor?s degree in Reliability Engineering, Quality Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field; and? Minimum 5 years? experience as a Reliability Engineer in an electronics production environment. Thorough understanding of RF engineering concepts is required, and SMT experience is highly desired.? ASQ Certified Quality Engineer preferred? Proven experience with RF reliability methodologies encompassing semiconductor devices and components. Understand thoroughly the reliability concepts, test plans, test purposes, test methods and test conditions required to qualify company products.? Deep knowledge of electronics industry quality standards (ISO, MIL-STD, JEDEC), reliability test methods, acceleration models used for life predictions, and sampling statistics.? Familiar with RF design and testing, wafer fabrication processes, assembly processes, semiconductor device physics, failure analysis of ICs, 8D methodology, structural problem solving and statistical analysis.? Experience with reliability test equipment, including environmental chambers, electrostatic discharge testers, vibration tables, tensile and compression testers, bond pull and die shear equipment; optical, electronic, and thermal imaging.? Experience working with 3rd party test labs.? A plus to have proficiency using Minitab, Weibull++, Python, Matlab, or other data acquisition and analysis software.? Excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and able to use data-driven approaches to resolve quality issues.?
