Software Engineer

The selected candidate will play a critical role in defining, designing, testing and implementing technology solutions to support the organization?s strategic initiatives and ensure functionality for the business. This role presents an exciting opportunity to influence and deliver an application platform for the multiple business partners and work closely with both the business and the application developers to ensure a high quality product that meets the business needs.The selected candidate will:? Grow into a subject matter expert for the application and its users? Understand and analyze system needs? Partner with the business stakeholders in clarifying requirements? Assist in grooming the product backlog? Work in an Agile application development environment? Author user stories and acceptance criteria? Review stories with the scrum team, provide clarifications, and collaborate with the scrum team throughout the development process? Participate in sprint ceremonies? Test features, provide demos, facilitate user acceptance testing, and solicit user feedback? Grow technical skills in selenium automated testing (requires basic java skills as well)? Promote a positive, inclusive, collaborative work environmentDay to Day Operations:- What are the main activities this resource will be performing daily?- Leads discussions with the business to refine business user stories and create technical user stories- Documentation of system functionality into living support documentation- Attends daily standup to assist the Product Owner and Development team in prioritization, estimation and backlog refinement- Works directly with software engineers to understand requirements, design and coding solution.- Will be engaged in automated testing maintenance once familiar with the application Requirement: Years of Experience Required: 2yrsMust haves: What are the top 3-5 skills you need in order to achieve your project goals?
