We are seeking a Material Handler for a very important client.SUMMARY:As an integral member of the Supply Chain team, the Material Handler performs inventory control, and shipping and receiving functions for all components and supplies in accordance with established policies, procedures, and best practices. This position requires the ability to be detail-oriented, good communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:? Perform material transactions, transfers, and issues for parts in an inventory tracking system.? Maintain inventory segregation of part numbers, lot numbers, and labels.? Maintain inventory of components and supplies in stock room including issuing components and supplies to the manufacturing team and other departments.? Perform accurate cycle counts and research and reconcile inventory discrepancies.? Perform receiving functions in an ERP (preferably QAD) including verifying items and paperwork, labeling parts, and transferring incoming parts to the Quality team.? Perform shipping functions including pulling and checking orders, preparing pack-list and components for subcontractors/suppliers for the subassembly, processing manifest system paperwork and online AES Direct transactions, and preparing shipping boxes and containers for product shipments.? Replenish Kanbans and consumables.? Partner with the Quality team on processing rejected materials and returns to suppliers, obtaining RMA numbers, and preparing materials for return.? Perform support duties for purchasing, materials, and production.? Organize and support annual physical inventory.? Perform related duties assigned.? High school education or technical training equivalent with a minimum of 5 years? experience in a manufacturing, quality control, or engineering environment, or equivalent practical experience.? Medical Device Experience preferred.? Experience with an ERP system (QAD, SAP, Oracle)? Good computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.? Good written and oral communication skills required including using the ability to interact professionally over the phone with contact suppliers.? Must understand cGMP in regards to filling out and handling records.? Experience cleaning components using ultra sonic cleaners with detergents and isopropanol based cleaning solutions per appropriate OSHA guidelines? Working knowledge of Kanbans and lean manufacturing methods a plus.? Ability to operate forklift, hand dollies, pallet jack, or other light industrial equipment to assist in loading and moving material and products.? Good housekeeping and safety skills.? Highly skilled in loading and unloading material within a warehouse facility.TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:The Material Handler must train to corporate policies as presented in the company Employee Handbook. Employee must train to the Company Quality Policy and Manual as well as the appropriate Standard Operating Procedures within the company Quality System. The list of appropriate SOPs will be developed by the Coordinator?s manager and recorded in the NeoTract QSR Training Matrix. Additional Requirements:? Responsible for performing all duties in compliance with FDA?s Quality System Regulation (QSR), ISO13485, the Canadian Medical Device Regulations, and all other international regulatory requirements with which company complies.Language and Verbal Skills: Individual must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Math Skills: Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Analytical and Reading Skills: Ability to read, understand and abide by company procedures. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and report on findings.
