Job DescriptionThe Payroll Manager will work with Finance and Human Resources to streamline the payroll process and manage all aspects of payroll in a timely and accurate manner. This individual will oversee all functions of the payroll process, ensuring complete, accurate and timely processing of the semi-monthly payroll, government reporting and compliance and year-end reporting. You must be comfortable working and communicating remotely, as our whole team works remotely. DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES: Developing systems to process payroll account transactions (e.g., salaries, benefits, garnishments, deductions, taxes and third-party payments) Lead team responsible for managing timekeeping, payroll administration and associated systems Overseeing processing of payroll changes (e.g., new hires, terminations, raises) and system upgrades Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and internal policies Liaise with auditors and manage payroll tax audits Collaborate with Human Resources (HR) and accounting teams Maintain accurate records and prepare reports Resolve issues and answer payroll-related questions Thrive working in fast-paced, high growth environments Get excited about building something from the ground up Enjoy being involved in shaping processes and employee experience Have agility and ability to adapt and lead change organizationallyPay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 60,300Maximum: 126,600Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications Have proven experience as a payroll manager or similar role Possess current knowledge of payroll procedures and related laws Have excellent understanding of multi-location payroll and taxes Familiar with payroll software/ HRIS (ADP) and MS Office (especially Excel) Have a keen eye for detail Possess an analytical mind and good math skills Outstanding communicator (written and oral)Preferred Qualifications Proficiency in ADP software experience a plus Previous leadership experienceEducationBS/BA in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources or related field; professional certification (e.g. CPP, CPM) is a plusBusiness OverviewBring your heart to CVS Health Every one of us at CVS Health shares a single, clear purpose: Bringing our heart to every moment of your health.
