Job DescriptionThis position is a key driver of additional Medicare Group Retiree growth opportunities as we partner with Sales, Underwriting and commercial business partners in responding to new proposals requests. The successful candidate will be responsible for management of RFP and RFI responses for complex proposals, questionnaires and surveys. It requires a hands-on approach in resolving proposal issues through project management, research, data gathering, and analysis. The position requires high level attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to problem solve in a face paced environment. You will be part of a nimble team of professionals with a proven ability to meet aggressive turnaround times and manage multiple projects in tandem. You must be a team player and demonstrate flexibility with changing priorities. The Strategic Proposal Writer is responsible for developing customer-focused, strategically positioned proposal responses for the Medicare Group Retiree Business. The successful candidate will write and edit in accordance with company brand standards, plain language and internal RFP style guide standards as well as apply research and data gathering skills. The position requires the ability to interpret and understand the needs of the customer and work with other team members to create a compelling, well-articulated value proposition that aligns the products and programs we offer with the customer's strategy is essential to success. Candidates use the proposal database and established department workflows to respond to questionnaires or ad hoc proposal requests. The position requires the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with our field organization and subject matter experts throughout the company. The ability to apply the principles of grammar, mechanics, and spelling in written work is critical.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 43,700Maximum: 97,400Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
