Description: General Purpose of the Position: Responsible for all production processes within the restaurant, including food preparation, customer care and cleaning.Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the PositionPerforms the following duties and responsibilities as the workload necessitates:í¢€¢ Prepares food items for cooking - Adds or removes food product from freezer, cooler, or proofer - Labels and dates food items appropriatelyí¢€¢ Makes food products in accordance with spec charts - Prepares food items (may include spraying, pinching, or manipulating with fingers) - Places food items into oven or fryer, removes after cooking process complete - Finalizes food preparation (may include cutting, spraying, adding sauce)í¢€¢ Takes customer orders - Answers the phone or greets customers at counter - Keys order into computerí¢€¢ Maintains production area - Operates dishwasher using hand controls to wash soiled dishes and cooking utensils, including loading of dirty dishes and removal of clean dishes - Changes soap and or sanitizes containers as needed - Receives incoming product and stores in appropriate areas (cooler, freezer, shelves)í¢€¢ Assists with other restaurant functions as directed by manager - Maintains cleanliness of restaurant (empties trash, sweeps and mops floors, cleans restrooms, picks up parking lot, etc.) - Collects payment from customersExpectations of the EmployeeUpholds the following standards of employment:í¢€¢ Consistently reports to work on time prepared to perform essential duties and responsibilities of the positioní¢€¢ Performs duties as workload necessitates and accomplishes all tasks assignedí¢€¢ Adheres to company policies and proceduresí¢€¢ Maintains a positive and respectful attitudeí¢€¢ Communicates regularly with supervisorRequirementsEmployees in this position are expected to be a minimum of age 16. You are the leader of the store and are responsible to put together a great team to take care of each and every customer that walks through our doors. You are responsible for the financial well being of your operation and ensuring that your team upholds the standards set by Pizza Hut. Requirements Excellent leadership and communication skills Ability to handle any and all concerns that may arise from customers and crew members. Ability to work well with vendors and maintain strong relationships. Ability to coach and correct when a standard is deviated. Ability to inspire confidence in those around you. Ability to maintain the financial well being of your operation by meeting food cost and labor goals in addition to good P&L awareness to all other line items. Ability to break down a P&L to find deviations or anomalies from prior period or prior year. Ability to show empathy and understanding when a customer concern should arise. Ability to keep your cool in stressful situations and inspire confidence during busy peak periods. Ability to multi-task Ability to stand on your feet for 8-10 hours without rest. 6 day work week 50-55 hours per week including 9 peaks. Three nights of which two must be a close. -
