Job DescriptionThis Sr Manager rolls up under the CFO - Medicare Advantage organization. The Special Needs Plan (formerly Duals) segment is the fastest growing product suite in the MA portfolio, and also the most complex. This role will shape new forecasting policies and expectations while working in conjunction with both the Medicare and Medicaid Controllers (Executive Directors), Actuarial AVP, and SNP leadership up to the VP level. The Sr Mgr will also help drive the month-end close process, driving deep insights into the business that identify actionable cost savings opportunities. This role is expected to work independently based on limited strategic direction, with limited oversight and day-to-day guidance.Key areas of ownership include: Oversee month-end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations Review and analyze monthly financial statements and transactions Own preparation of Medicaid state reporting, including monthly/quarterly/annual reporting and encounter reporting reconciliation to financial statements Drive annual budgeting and forecast processes, articulate changes in forecast and explain variances of complex products Work with Medicare SG&A team to project operating costs Collaborate with cross functional teams on operational issues, including SNP business leaders such as Chief Duals OfficersPay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 75,400Maximum: 158,300Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
