Job DescriptionAs the Director of Advanced Analytics for Customer Insights, you will provide oversight and leadership of Resource for Living employer group analytics to measure the value of the Mental Health services delivered for the 30M members lives we serve. The primary goal of this team is to develop actionable insights, hypothesis testing and sound statistical analytics.The Director will have accountability of the Plan Sponsor Delivery team responsible for delivering presentations and showcasing the power in leveraging analytics to impact Mental Health. In this role, the Director is expected to be highly analytical with a strong math and statistics background and passion for machine-learning and research. Relationship management, critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential to be successful in the role. Fundamental Components included but are not limited to:Align with Head of Performance Excellence to set plan sponsor delivery strategyDevelops and presents actionable recommendations to large key accounts based and Senior Management of Mental Wellbeing OrganizationCollaborates with Sales, Account Management, Clinicians and Mental Wellbeing P&L leaders to executive on employee group initiativesProactively identifies opportunities to address Mental Health for our members and evaluates program effectiveness to prove statistical significance in results deliveredIdentify valuable data sources, preprocess structured and unstructured data, analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patternsDesign experiment and initiate statistical research projects is to investigate causality of the mental wellbeing population served.Present information using data visualization techniques and propose solutions and strategies to address business challenges.Contributes to the design and development of the Mental Wellbeing Ecosystem including the development of predictive models, forecasting models, propensity scores, etc.Participates in research-related activities including industry best practices and experience studies.Develops team of analytic consultants to provide superior analytical service and statistically sound analytics.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 100,000Maximum: 221,000Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications8+ years of experience in analytics in the healthcare industry Seasoned in presenting and communicating with C-Suite and developing compelling analytical storyboards and collaborating with clinical to ideate on clinical interventionsExperience with providing very complex programming and analytical support for medical cost trend analysis and strategic planning.Experience conducting/developing surveys, causal statistical studies and developing predictive models. Advanced knowledge of Relational Database Design, Statistics, Forecasting and various healthcare qualitative and quantitative measures and data sets. Ability to manage conflicting priorities and multiple projects concurrentlyAdvanced SQL, SAS, Python, and/or R programming experience.Experience with Tableau and Microsoft BI.Preferred QualificationsPHD or Masters in Mathematics, Statistics, Clinical Psychology, Data ScienceFamiliarity with key managed care functions including EAP, provider contracting, benefit design, medical management as well as knowledge of business functions and impact on financials (underwriting, sales, product development, network management) is also strongly preferredEducationBachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or other related field or 12 years of equivalent work experience.
