Job DescriptionThe AVP, Medicaid Divisional CFO is one of two new positions that will function as the CFO for two of Aetna Medicaid's four divisions. Each division is comprised of three to five Medicaid state health plans and the CFO will have responsibility for an annual P&L of $7 to $8 billion. Through collaboration with other Medicaid leaders and Aetna functions, the AVP Divisional CFOs will lead their divisions' ability to achieve their financial targets and strategic goals by managing and driving business actions and financial goals across the divisions and state health plans. These are very strategic positions for Medicaid Finance. Each AVP Divisional CFO will be required to interact directly with their respective Medicaid Division Presidents who have the same state by state oversight. In addition to Bryan Nazworth, Aetna Medicaid CFO, and the Division Presidents, this individual will interact directly with Kelly Munson, SVP Medicaid CEO, the other Medicaid senior leaders, Finance and Actuarial executives and their teams. With the creation of these roles, the local state CFPs will be able to focus more on their respective states, while the AVP Divisional CFOs will drive higher level strategic discussions with senior Medicaid leaders and ensure performance management.The AVP Divisional CFO will: Partner with their Division Presidents to maintain financial and operational control of the business Be a strategic partner with their Division Presidents to determine and execute on growth strategies, financial targets and overall margin enhancement of the Division Be a strong leader with demonstrated executive presence and positive energy Hold teams accountable for their goals and hitting financial metrics Lead a team responsible for managing the financial close, and planning and forecasting processes Evaluate investment opportunities to ensure strong ROIs for their divisions through decision support and financial analysis Collaborate with constituent areas including Actuarial, Service Operations, Clinical, Network and Medical Economics to execute on growth prioritiesPay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 157,800Maximum: 347,200Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications 20+ years of related Finance, Medicaid and P&L experience Financial management experience including strategic and business planning, accounting and financial analysis.
