We're looking for aspiring analytical enthusiasts to drive member engagement and behavior change in Aetna's Medicare Business, using advanced analytics, predictive modeling, segmentation, and statistics that leverages business acumen and good data storytelling to help Aetna improve member well-being and its product and services.Medicare Consumer Analytics is one of the largest teams within the Analytics & Behavior Change department's Consumer Analytics organization. The team is organized by business-aligned verticals - Medicare STARS, Revenue Integrity, Duals COE, Foundational Journeys, CVS Activation, & Optimization. About the Job This role is within the Duals COE vertical which encompasses members' who have dual coverage of Medicare and Medicaid (these members require a specialized engagement as they are of higher health and socioeconomic risk). This is a hands-on AC role with a combination of data analyst (technical coding) and growing business / stakeholder consulting. One of many projects you could be working on include: Gather and process data from large and complex datasets to conduct non-routine analyses employing advanced statistical and machine learning methods to draw meaningful insights Act as a thought leader in the creation of objectives and key results to track performance of the workstream and build/maintain dashboards for displaying results Work closely alongside the director to make business recommendations using effective presentation skills; convey findings at multiple levels including executive leadership, managers, and peers through visual displays of quantitative information Utilize excellent communication skills to work cross-functionally with Medicare business leaders, Marketing, and Engineering teams to identify opportunities, design, and deploy campaigns to enable Duals member engagementPay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 60,000Maximum: 128,700Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications Technical foundation. Strong knowledge in SQL and Python/R Business foundation. 2+ years of business experience leading analyses and initiatives with track record of business impact or Master's degree (quantitative discipline) Analytical experience. Demonstrates ability to communicate technical concepts and implications to non-technical audiences, including experience creating communication materials (e.g., memos, slide decks, etc.)Preferred Qualifications Additional technical experience. Strong knowledge of advanced analytics tools and languages to analyze large data sets from multiple data sources Problem solver.
