Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for setting the direction and leading elements of the enterprise management process (serving as a "second in command" to the executive director of EPPM operations) on behalf of the CVS Health CEO, CFO and members of the executive leadership team, along with key members of their respective leadership teams. It will also be responsible for partnering with members of the ELT and their leadership teams across the enterprise to develop strategic, executive-level business communications for very critical internal and external audiences, including but not limited to the CVS Health Board of Directors and the investment community. This highly visible and high stakes role ultimately impacts overall enterprise governance and performance management of enterprise and business-related results. In regard to the enterprise management process, the candidate will take a lead role in enhancing and elevating the enterprise management process in a manner that better balances the focus on financial and operational drivers and results; drives the right management discussions among the executive team; ensures meeting content reflects key critical priorities by tying off with key executive and functional leaders; upholds meticulous attention to detail and strict confidentiality of subject matter; and creates a forum for problem solving, risk mitigation, and best practice sharing in order to facilitate executive management of the company in a coordinated, aligned and efficient manner. This high-profile work requires understanding of the CVS Health enterprise business segments and the health care industry as a whole, sound judgement, critical thinking, and diligent focus on quality and accuracy in the production of executive-level deliverables that are often highly confidential and/or competitively proprietary. The candidate must possess a high-degree of maturity and professionalism and demonstrate skill and comfort level in establishing/cultivating partnerships across the enterprise to stay abreast of key operational and financial developments and broker discussions/touchpoints between segments to most effectively generate enterprise value by driving alignment between business priorities, opportunities and risk management strategies. Although this position does not have direct reports, individual is responsible for leading project teams and cross functional resources within the EPPM department and across the enterprise to complete deliverables and tasks with minimal daily direction from Lead Director.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 75,400Maximum: 158,300Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications7+ years of relevant experience including:Knowledge Of: Microsoft Office; Microsoft Teams environment; SharepointSkill In: Translating complex business plans and operational/financial results into clear, succinct and compelling storylines, appropriately tailored to varying audience interests (e.g., employees vs. investment community) Identifying opportunities for improvement and driving change to improve efficiency, effectiveness, quality and alignment of priorities and results Driving complex project management milestones and deliverables, in collaboration with a number of colleagues in a highly matrixed organization while adhering to enterprise deadlines for highly visible and critical meetings/events such as monthly and quarterly financial reviews, in addition to supporting financials for quarterly earnings, board meetings, Investor Day, and other events as required. Translating financial results and metrics into clear, compelling storylines to support understanding and decision-making. Ability To: Work collaboratively in a highly matrixed environment and build partnerships with key constituents of varying professional levels (e.g., Investor Relations, business segment and corporate finance leadership and within the Enterprise Planning department) to gain input, feedback, understanding and/or buy-in on key processes, expectations and/or deliverables, while influencing business decisions through actionable business insights.
