You can work fully remote within the United States.The mission of the Safety surveillance & Collaboration (S&C) team, CVS Health Clinical Trial Services, is to actively monitor the US public health in collaboration with Food and Drug Administration (FDA), academic institutions, and other health insurance companies. The S&C team conducts descriptive research, medical chart review validations, and pragmatic research using the FDA Sentinel Common Data Model (SCDM), Sentinel and Distributed Research Network (DRN) tools, Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership (OMOP) CDM, Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Initiative (PCORI) CDM, and Aetna's Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW).The Clinical Trials Services (CTS) Real World Evidence (RWE) Safety Surveillance & Collaboration (SS&C) team will be expanding our government contracts and grants portfolio. The Senior FP&A Analyst-Grants will ensure the financial and accounting documentation meets government contracts and grants requirements. The role of a Financial Manager-Grants will plan, organize, and coordinate the accounting and financial reporting for RWE SS&C contract and grant portfolio including set and maintain accounting and internal control related policies. Specifically, - Verify financial records and transactions. - Support Grantor Financial, Statutory and Compliance audits- Ensure accuracy and effectiveness in all reporting/ accounting tasks.- Proactively implement change so as to create efficiencies and improve processes- Work with financial organizations within CVS, CTS, and funders in Federal, State and Private sectors- Responsible for tracking, organizing, and ensuring compliance for financial information requirements related to grants including time tracking- Obtain and organize monetary transactions for compliance with applicable grant and contract terms internal policies and procedures- Ability to organize financial statements for up to 50 grants- Deliver monthly expense reports, variance analysis and reconciliations to the general ledger demonstrating flawless attention to detail and ability to consistently generate a high-quality work product- Provide explanations and recommendations for variances from budget and discuss with program personnel to ensure their knowledge and understanding- Become familiar with all aspects of the programs overseen in the unit including regulations and reporting requirements to funders- Reconcile CTS RWE and SS&C rate methodologies or key components to meet contracts and grants requirements- Work with CTS financial team to provide technical and analytical support for the preparation of the organization's annual operating budget including providing technical training to ProgramPay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 60,300Maximum: 126,600Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
