Job DescriptionAs the VP, CFO Specialty Pharmacy you will provide comprehensive financial support to the Specialty Pharmacy Business and set of portfolio business lines. This role includes leadership over the Specialty Pharmacy financial planning and analysis and revenue cycle organizations. This position requires exceptional leadership and motivational skills to successfully support the SVP of Specialty and various other SVP & VP business leaders, plus several matrix team members in Finance, Operations and Sales. Primary responsibilities for this position include helping to set strategic goals, improve organizational effectiveness, and manage financial results. You will lead the annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, monthly close, and detailed variance analysis to support the business. You will also oversee a complex revenue cycle financial operations organization.Additionally, this position will: Lead and execute change within the finance organization to support the quickly evolving specialty pharmacy business Acquire talent, mentor team members and build/maintain a high-performance culture Develop and engage specialty pharmacy with significant and complex financial analysis that lead to improved productivity and or substantial cost savings Drive operational efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations, while ensuring outstanding collection rates. Lead and motivate a large and complex finance and financial operations organization while creating a winning, engaging and fun culture. Manage the creation of monthly forecasts, annual budget and financial close support for the Specialty Pharmacy. Provide multi-segment variance analyses to support business decisions Assist in the strategic planning process to ensure that reporting meets the company's 5 year strategic plan; act as the key resource in maintaining project financial integrity post completion Prepare and present periodic reporting packages to senior management which will be used in decision making Set the standard for integrity, accountability, and achieving resultsKey Competencies: Translating financial results and metrics into clear, concise, actionable narratives that influence strategic planning, business decision-making and action Identifying opportunities for improvement and driving change to improve efficiency, effectiveness, quality and alignment of priorities and results Ability to lead a large and complex finance and financial operations organization focusing on outcomes, employee engagement and talent developmentPreferred locations but open to WFH (work from home) Chicago, IL Phoenix, AZ Hartford, CT Woonsocket, RIRequired Qualifications 20+ years related financial management experience including strategic and business planning, financial analysis and operations in a PBM or related business Demonstrated experience leading teams in an executive role Experience supporting a P&L Experience leading a large and complex organization Extensive change management experience Proven experience developing and executing financial strategies in a matrix operating model Demonstrated financial analytics experience Travel: Up to 25%COVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
